The Bitter Gay

Welcome to The Bitter Gay Co., where passion meets craftsmanship in every bottle. I'm Kevin Thompson, the proud owner and creator behind this venture, dedicated to producing exceptional craft bitters and tinctures.

With a foundation rooted in the vibrant cocktail culture of South Beach, Miami, I honed my skills while working in some of the most prestigious hotels and bars in the area. It was here that I discovered my love for the artistry of mixology and the nuanced world of flavor combinations.

Taking a leap of faith, I ventured to Knoxville, Tennessee, where I further refined my craft as I passionately ran a bustling bistro. This experience allowed me to immerse myself in the rich culinary traditions of the South, and it's from this diverse tapestry of flavors that the seeds of The Bitter Gay Co. were sown.

As destiny would have it, I found myself in Columbus, Ohio, where the company truly came into its own. It's in this vibrant city that The Bitter Gay Co. was born, with the unwavering support of my husband and my 3 dogs, Brucie, Bobby and Theodore.

Our products are a testament to the meticulous care and attention to detail that defines our brand. Each batch is crafted with a commitment to quality, using the finest ingredients and time-honored techniques. From classic bitters to innovative tinctures, every creation is a labor of love, aimed at elevating your cocktails and culinary experiences.

At The Bitter Gay Co., we believe that taste is a personal journey, and we invite you to embark on it with us. Whether you're a seasoned mixologist, a home bartender, or simply someone who appreciates the finer things in life, we have something special waiting for you.

At The Bitter Gay Co., we take pride in being an LGBTQIA-owned business. Our identity is woven into the fabric of our brand, celebrating the inclusivity and diversity that make us who we are. We believe that love, craftsmanship, and a good cocktail have the power to bring people together.

Thank you for being a part of our story. Together, let's raise a glass to flavor, diversity, and the celebration of craft.

Cheers,

Kevin Thompson
